Contact CHP for more weather related road status, or call us at Stevenswood, 800-421-2810. 01/28/08:::07:22 AM -- Calls to the County Roads and CHP indicate that Highway 128 is open. Motorists are advised to use extreme caution on the highways, and watch for dangerous black ice in certain cold areas, especially on overpasses and shaded turns. Highway 20 is requiring tire chains. Contact CHP for more weather related road status, or call us at Stevenswood, 800-421-2810. 01/26/08:::01:03 PM --- Arriving guests are reporting that Highway 128 is fully open, with some minor debris and evidence of recently cleared mud slides. Drive safely! 01/26/08: 07:58 AM --- We wanted to let you know about the possibility that the 128 Highway may be closed for a short period this morning.
As it is not presently raining, we project that this will be a brief closure, but wanted to give you a head's up just in case you plan to arrive on the coast prior to our 3:00 PM check-in time.
The typical alternate route is via Highway 20 to Highway 1, South.
